2009 is the first year that a New York
Contractor
Exchange has been offered, but similar events have taken place in other
states.
The Utility Efficiency Exchange
concept
started in 2007 to facilitate networking and professional development for
staff representatives of energy and water utilities statewide. It is
geared towards professionals who are responsible for developing and
implementing customer programs related to energy/water efficiency, smart
meters, demand response and renewable energy.
