We produce events on topics that may:

  • Enhance your organization’s position as a thought leader among industry allies and stakeholders to enhance your program initiatives, and/or
  • Articulate your organization’s value proposition for industry prospects and allies in order to generate qualified prospects in a manner that lends third-party credibility. 

We offer two options:  Event Management and Independent Consultation.


Event Management for web-based events

WebinarWith this option, UtilityExchange.org positions your organization as the “event host organization” in promotional materials but we handle all aspects of the event planning and management.

To accomplish this on the web, we position your organization as the exclusive Utility Web Exchange Sponsor for “your” event with these benefits:

  • Recognition as Utility Web Exchange Sponsor in all promotional materials and during opening and close of event
  • Editorial consideration over topic and speaker selection
  • Participate in development of event budget, to include establishment of registration fees, discount offerings and complimentary registration policies as well as promotional activities
  • Access to attendee registration records
  • Unlimited distribution rights audio archive of webinar presentation

UtilityExchange.org’s role will be as the event producer with these responsibilities:

  • Develop promotional materials and moderator script
  • Provide state-of-the-industry webinar facilitation with alternative method for participants who desire less technological option.  This will include toll-free telephone access.
  • Turnkey management of webinar registrations and all other event aspects
  • Handle all presenter invitations, coaching and rehearsals, as needed
  • Collect, upload, publish and archive web links of presentations plus log-in and dial-in details for all registrants
  • Produce an archive of the webinar presentation
  • Promote in UtilityExchange.org email newsletter to 7000+ distribution and other promotional opportunities to be co-determined
  • Conduct online evaluation survey of registrants

Event Management for in-person events

WyomingWith this option, UtilityExchange.org positions your organization as the “event host organization” in promotional materials but we handle all aspects of the event planning and management.

To accomplish this, we position your organization as the exclusive “host organization“ with these benefits:

  • Recognition in all promotional materials and during opening and close of event
  • Lead role in Agenda Advisory Committee with editorial consideration over topic/speaker selection
  • Complimentary event registrations and prominence in display area
  • Support role in identifying and recruiting presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and attendees
  • Access to attendee registration records
  • Unlimited distribution rights to archive of event presentations and other planning material
  • Participation in development of event budget, to include establishment of registration fees, discount offerings and complimentary registration policies as well as promotional activities
  • Access to attendee registration records
  • Unlimited distribution rights audio archive of webinar presentation

UtilityExchange.org’s role will be as the event producer, handling all aspects of the event in close coordination host, to include:

  • Develop, prepare and publish agenda and other promotional materials through facilitation of an ad hoc Agenda Advisory Committee comprise of representatives from the host and other sponsor organizations
  • Recruit, negotiate and support additional sponsors and exhibitors consistent with hosts’ goals
  • Identify, invite and coordinate speaker presentations
  • Create and maintain web sites for event information to allow for easy linking to hosts’ sites
  • Handle all event registration processing
  • Produce and publish a web-based proceedings of the presentations
  • Promote in UtilityExchange.org email newsletter to 7000+ distribution and other promotional opportunities to be co-determined
  • Conduct online evaluation survey of registrants

Consulting

With this option, Ed Thomas will come to your location (or reach out via a web-based connection) to conduct a 1-8 hour orientation for your organization staff and key stakeholders on how to plan and produce your own events, leveraging the best practices and lesson learned that we’ve experienced. 

Your organization will have no further obligation to consult with us, but we will be available to support you in any individual aspect of the event management process detailed above, when/if you need it.
