Meet two home improvement contractors in Wyoming - one who primarily installs HVAC systems and another who is a remodeler/builder - discuss how they are transforming their business practices to offer "home performance" improvements to leverage growing interest in energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Learn how they initially offered home performance analysis as a stand-alone service but are now integrating it into all their transactions because it creates more satisfied customers and greater profits while significantly differentiating them from competing contractors who sell primarily on price.

Discover how state government agencies and energy utilities are aggressively promoting a "whole house" approach like that offered through the Wyoming Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.

Find out about plans to take the program statewide in 2009 in support of utilities like Cheyenne Fuel, Light and Power that offer homeowners $150 rebates if they have a comprehensive home performance assessment performed by a qualified Wyoming Home Performance contractor. And, meet the contractor who was hired to perform a "home energy audit" on the Wyoming Governor's Residence and find out how the governor gained first-hand knowledge of the importance of combustion safety testing.
