The Wyoming Public Service Commission recently held a series of over 30 town meetings around the state to discuss rising energy costs, conservation measures and incentives, and energy-related assistance programs. Chairman Cindy Lewis will share what she and her fellow commissioners have learned first-hand from consumers.

·         Kathleen "Cindy" Lewis, Chairman, Wyoming Public Service Commission

Chairman Lewis earned her law degree from the University of Wyoming in 1984, after graduating cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1981 with a bachelor of arts in legal studies.  Just prior to her June 2004 appointment to the PSC, she served as executive director of the Wyoming Board of Parole, and has practiced law in Wyoming for over 20 years. She was a senior staff attorney for Legal Services for Southeastern Wyoming, assistant bar counsel for the Wyoming State Bar, executive secretary and legal counsel for the state Board of Equalization and staff attorney for Wyoming Supreme Court Justice Marilyn S. Kite.  Chairman Lewis is a member the Gas Committee and the Task Force on Climate Change of the National Association of Regulating Utility Commissioners.  She is also Chairman of the Gas Committee for the Western Conference of Public Service Commissioners.
